A Modeling Toolbox

The Wade & Associates hydraulic modeling team is nationally recognized for their modeling expertise.  Developing a modeling tool that will assess the performance of the sanitary sewer system as well as assist in the development of capital improvement programs is the solution for addressing both infrastructure diagnostic and management issues. The Wade team provides a customized hydraulic model to analyze and quantify inflow and infiltration (I/I), system defects, and hydraulic performance under dry-weather and wet-weather flow conditions throughout your entire system or in a chosen study area. Different scenarios for cost-effectively addressing capacity issues, reducing I/I, and rehabilitating the system are prepared and interfaced with GIS software to graphically present results to clients.  Special issues like hydraulic bottlenecks, expected future growth scenarios, and impacts from industrial users can also be added to accurately achieve a comprehensive model. 

Our firm is experienced in using state-of-the-art modeling programs including InfoworksCS© (100,000 node license), MWH Soft©, XP-SWMM©, SewerCAD©, Wade's proprietary software series - Pipedream©, and more.

Just as no two cities are alike, neither are their sanitary collection systems.  Each city needs a hydraulic model that reflects the unique characteristics of their system.  Because Wade & Associates understands the complexities of hydraulic modeling, we developed our own sanitary sewer hydraulic modeling software, Pipedream©.  The hallmark of Pipedream© is its adaptability and its user-friendly interface.  Truly a comprehensive model, Pipedream© develops and routes synthetic diurnal hydrographs throughout the entire system, line-by-line.  So, where other models show only a single flow value, Pipedream© allows users to see instantly a graphic of the time-dependent hydrograph at any point in the collection system.
